Hello, we’re Sandra & David
A bakery rooted
in our own story.
A shared life, changing dietary needs and a love of good food brought us here. Three Blossoms is the next chapter we’re building together.

Sandra’s story
A need became a recipe.
A recipe became a beginning.
Three Blossoms Bakery began with a need I understood firsthand.
After being diagnosed with celiac disease in 2022, I learned how much it matters to find gluten-free foods you enjoy. When my husband and I moved from Tucson to the Sierra Vista area, I found fewer of the familiar options I had relied on.
I began baking more for our household, experimenting with recipes and working toward the flavors and textures I wanted. As I shared what I made, the encouragement I received helped me imagine something more. People enjoyed the baked goods, and many were surprised to learn they were gluten-free.
That encouragement became Three Blossoms Bakery: a small, family-run business focused on gluten-free baked goods for Sierra Vista and the surrounding communities.
I’m Sandra, the baker behind Three Blossoms. My husband, David, handles the administration and work behind the scenes. Together, we’re building the business thoughtfully, one step at a time.
Baking has given me a renewed sense of purpose, and sharing food that others enjoy has made that work especially meaningful. My hope is to bring our community more gluten-free baked goods to look forward to, made with care and attention to flavor and texture.
Food to look forward to.
Made with care, shared with heart.

David’s part in the story
Behind the scenes,
beside Sandra.
I spent years working as a nurse in community health, and helping people was one of the things I loved most about my work. Worsening neurological problems, whose underlying cause remains unknown, eventually led me to step away from nursing. I have also undergone multiple surgeries and been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Our changing health needs brought us closer to family in the Sierra Vista area.
In 2015, about a year into our marriage, I was diagnosed with diabetes. Sandra helped us make significant changes to our meals to accommodate my lower-carbohydrate needs. When she was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2022, we learned to adjust again. Finding foods that work for both of us has been an important part of our life together.
Sandra has supported me through difficult changes, and I’m proud to support her as she builds Three Blossoms Bakery. I handle the business and administration behind the scenes, bringing my experience, attention to detail, and love of helping people to our work together.
A name close to our hearts
Why Three Blossoms?
Three Blossoms is named for our furry family: Yuki, Hashi and Mitsu.
We weren’t able to have children, and these little ones have brought us so much love and companionship. Yuki joined us about six months into our marriage, followed by Hashi about a year later. Losing Yuki in 2025 was especially difficult for Sandra, who felt she had lost her little girl.
Today, Hashi shares our home with Mitsu, our mischievous youngest, who is training to become David’s diabetic alert service dog. All three hold a special place in our family and in our bakery’s name.
